Why do I have an age restriction on my Xbox PC game pass, but didn't have one on Console?

Kindly check if there is an organizer account linked to yours by signing in to https://account.microsoft.com/family. Once confirmed that there is none reset and repair the Xbox App by following the steps below:

Settings > Apps & Features > Apps > Search "Xbox" > Advanced Options > Repair > Reset.

After that try to sign in again on your Xbox App then try to instal an Xbox Game Pass game.

Hey I followed the steps below and everything is set to allow. The Widows store and the Game Pass App on my phone are not applying this age restriction only the Game pass on PC is.

I know that some Xbox games have certain restrictions on their software that allows them to run smoothly on the console. One thing that comes to mind is being capped at 30 fps, or having certain settings set to low.

I am confused as to whether or not the PC game pass has any of these restrictions set on it as it is acquired through the Xbox catalog.

In other words, are the game licenses the exact same as Steam game licenses, or are they just Xbox game licenses that are ported to the PC pass?

Thank you so much for the response. If that is the case then why was I able to download DESTROY ALL HUMANS, with it also having an age restriction of +16? Also how do I check my age restrictions? My Microsoft account also shows that my age is well over 16 years, unless my Microsoft account is separate from my Xbox account
