    First things first. my xbox is busted, so I am using my pc to view the videos i have purchased on xbox video. You go to xbox video on the web, sign in, and play the video. simple. or it was...

    A few months ago microsoft changed how they did xbox video. Now it only strems - it doesnt download. But there are garbaged packets everywhere so it skips, fast forwards through parts, and refuses to play certain videos. Before, when you downloaded them,
    you could just refresh purchase history and it was solved.

    Now however, there doesn't seem to be a way to refresh purchase history or do ANYTHING to resolve problems. I have 3 separate seasons of shows that are refusing to play, just telling me "sorry, we can't play this item right now. please try again later."
    They have done this for the last 3 weeks and there is no end in sight.

    xbox support is useless. Apparently xbox video is only supported on xbox, even though its perfectly accessible on pc. If you try to talk to anyone about the problem you get juggled for about 30 minutes from support tech to support tech and then you finally
    get told that the servers must be busy, try it again later.

    At what point do the servers stop being busy, as i have tried every night for the last 3 weeks to play the videos I paid for, at all times of day and night, and there is no change?

    Quit *** around Microsoft and fix your crap. Support your product. I paid for this stuff and I want it resolved or I want a refund and I'll buy it elsewhere. This is completely unacceptable.

    Videos that refuse to play are -

    walking dead season 4 - alone, the grove, us

    Grimm season 3 - Mommy dearest, Once we were gods

    Castle season 4 - Pandora - this isnt even the current season so what are the chances the servers are busy??

    Xbox Video "Sorry we can't play this item right now. Please try again later."

    I am trying to watch my Xbox Video tv shows on my mac using Safari. I can log in, access the tv shows, but when I click play, a screen pops up to play the video, then it loads for a few seconds, until finally it says "Sorry, we can't play this item right
    now. Please try again later."

    I have looked all over the internet for a solution, but I can't find one. Please help.

    What country you're in.

    Did you buy the Season Pass?

    I have a similar issue. I have several 8 different TV show episodes on my Xbox Video account. Two of them play properly on the Xbox as well as on my PC via web browser, my Windows Tablet via the Xbox Video app and my Windows Phone via Xbox Video app. The
    other 6 episodes are having problems. On the PC, they show up in my account but when I try to play them I get the same error you mention, "Sorry, we can't play this item right now. Please try again later." When I try to watch them on my Windows Phone or
    my Windows Tablet, those six episodes don't even show up in my list. They play fine on my Xbox 360.

    I am in the United States.

    I did not purchase a Season Pass, only individual episodes.

    These are all HD.

    The two episodes that play are "Raising Hope - Deja Vu Man" and "Enlisted - Pilot".

    The six episodes that will not play are all Star Trek Original Series: "Balance of Terror" "I, Mudd" "The Naked Time" "Space Seed" "The Trouble With Tribbles" "Mirror, Mirror"

    I have the same issue for Arrow. I can't play any episodes after 20 "Seeing Red" on either my xbox or the web.

    I have the same problem for Homeland season 3. It plays on the xbox 360, but refuses to play on the web. Just comes up with "Sorry we can't play this item right now" no error code or anything.

    Hello, Nathan! I was also suspended from xbox live. The first day when i got my suspension my appeal notification was there but the next day when i felt confident to appeal it just said the "Sorry, we can't get notifications right now. Try again later." message. It's a very bad issue and was on xbox live for a couple of years! Two weeks have past and my appeal notification is still just "Sorry, we can't get notifications right now. Try again later." message.
