    Why do get more than 1 year of warranty on my Xbox Series S?


    I purchased it from my local retailer (Thailand) and registered it yesterday but the warranty seems to end on 10 May 2022 which is more than 1 year. I looked at the console’s back, the manufactured date is 08 Feb 2021. Is this normal?

    I bought Xbox Wireless Elite Series 2 Controller, Here in EU (Greece) all controllers have 1 year warranty and the Series X/S consoles 2 years.

    My slim is 1 year 1 month old and still good.

    its rare to get it on a slim. Is it under warranty? I always get the longest warranty possible.

    The newer e model is pretty solid and has good cooling but not much better than s model.

    Might I ask, then is the 1 year warranty for the s|x series consoles ? so they use the same warranty paper notebook for everything ? That seems confusing.

    No its not a 3 year warranty for rrod on the S models, its only a 1 year warranty. 3 year warranty was for the old style 360's but as the S model is a completely new design it is only covered by a 1 year warranty
