Why do games need your profile? I'm already signed in.

depends on the developer, I imagine it's to authenticate information and that your data is safe

Not a issue with your console. Some games just have the option to ask again to change user. Is just a decision of the developer not the decision of the platform.

It's set to instant on and I never am asked for passwords.

I just think it's strange that every time I boot up a game, it needs to confirm that I am going to play using my Xbox account that's already signed in. I feel like this would be an easy way to cut out load times and menu clicks to get into the games.
