    Why Discord native XBOX Series X is not allowing audio


    Hi All, I have a series X with a Corsair HS75XB, the discord native app does not allow any audio to pass (receive or transmit). If I use it from the Edge browser it works. I changed all permissions to allow, I have reset the console, I have restarted console and headset. Changed NAT to open. Opened ports and even turned the router's firewall off. Ensured headset's firmware is updated. Console is also up to date.

    Yes but as mentioned you will have issues

    It upscales not native

    Only the xbox one x and series x are 4k native

    Most.games will.only run 1080p max on series s

    It will do less CPU intensive stuff like 4k streaming

    Series x does 4k 60hx with possible 120hz (dropped fps )

    Xbox one x does only 4k 30hz

    I have almost the same problem except the error message says

    “if you’re using Xbox series X/S, note that HDMI audio can’t be turned off. In other consoles, either optical or HDMI audio must be on. (0x80bd0009)

    Why can’t I turn off hdmi audio on Xbox series x it makes no sense?

    Hello again,

    There is not an option to uninstall discord from the Xbox Series X. Discord does not show up as an app, as it is integrated directly into the party chat functionality. Are you suggesting that I unlink the discord account?
