Why didnt Microsoft do more to stop scalpers.

It's sad this has been going on for over a year now and no one has done anything about it they should be limiting the number that can be bought during a certain timeframe. I've been a believer in Xbox since the original but this is a slap in the face to the fans who actually like the product. They are filling the pockets of people who just want to resell their products for profit, Get it together!!!

‘Thanks’ for the info on the console is available at Walmart! It’s being sold through them by scalpers for about $1K!!! NOT doing it. We’re past the point of COVID excuses , the scalpers have plenty of inventory! Stop feeding the scalpers and sell to your customer base! I won’t be buying one for more than the suggested retail of ~$500.00! Im done waiting and searching for rumored online release dates only to be wiped by scalpers in minutes !!!

Everything does work, you can't blame Microsoft for greedy scalpers jumping in and buying up stock. They announced 25th October that the Kinect was not being manufactured, so it would figure that the adapters would be stopped soon after. They probably manufactured
more than enough but scalpers got them first.

Scalpers wouldn't be much of an issue if people stopped buying from them,

The more that people are willing to pay a higher price, just to get what they want, than just to wait for stock's come back will only increase the amount of scalpers there are,

The more scalpers there are, the faster stock's will sell out and the more people will panic and pay the higher prices of these scalpers, which in turn creates more scalpers, which means stock's sell out even faster next time around, It's a vicious cycle
that only going to get worst if people don't stop buying from scalpers.

I've barely just managed to get my PS5 Pre-order down, but with the huge disaster of the PS5 Pre-orders that's gone on, I'm not sure if my Pre-order will get me one on launch day,

Which it does have me worried about the Xbox Series X Pre-orders, However Xbox has been clear with their Pre-order time and date, I hope they stick to it, unlike the major disaster of the PS5 Pre-orders.

I hope to get my Series X Pre-order in when the Pre-orders go live.
