Why did you not bother making an offline version of the 2018 Xbox Avatars?

As someone who really enjoys the 2018 Xbox Avatars, I feel excluded from your userbase due to the fact you shut down the Avatar Editor

I feel as though an Offline version that lets you still use the editor without any fear of losing access would be something more worthwhile than simply barring people from using an app for "low engagement"

And no, I am not going to use the 360 Avatars, they are not the Xbox Avatars I have a deep passion for

Alternatively, you could open source the 2018 Editor, and even include SDKs so that people can make THEIR OWN 2018 Xbox Avatar content

they were discontinued because people weren't using them and games weren't using them. They're not going to maintain an application that isn't serving an active purpose on the service

There are many programs out there like poser that should fit the bill for you

I am not going to use another software to fill the void

I would rather just have an Offline version of the Editor that simply keeps functionality but removes the marketplace

Man, it's too bad. If they don't want to support the Xbox version, why did they bother releasing it on the console? I wonder if there's a way to find out how many Xbox versions were sold since release?

I've heard no word or comment on new avatars. But as seeing your post I've done some research and found the Avatars are being delayed until "2018" there is no concrete date but you have the ability to read on here https://www.windowscentral.com/mike-ybarra-new-xbox-avatars-delayed-2018
