The recent subtle changes on Xbox Live have been for the most part pretty nice. I noticed the cooler menu sounds in my headset as I browse my friends and party chat, and on my Xbox One X I noticed a really cool new start-up screen that wasn't there before.
I noticed the effort for the layout to be more intuitive, but I really don't care for what MS did to the layout of the Marketplace: They removed the sections for backward compatible titles (right after having put so many good OG Xbox titles on too), and removed
the normal section for One X enhanced games and instead made a filter option for "Xbox One X Enhanced" and another one for "4K Games" which basically show the exact same titles...but the worst part is they replaced those missing sections with the TYPICAL and
BORING "Top Paid Games" and "Top Free Games" like any other uninspired app store. I really wish they would replace those game sections in the main Games Marketplace screen...hopefully it's just temporary

    :)

  2. 0x87e107e3 Can't play backwards compatible title?

They are doing maintenance on Xbox 360 titles and services today/earlier today. That is why you and your friend are having issues with Dark Souls 1 today. This also causes issues on Xbox One if you are playing a backwards compatible game.

  3. Can this be part of backwards compatibility????

Hello, I can understand your want for these games the Lego games are great fun. Xbox has an official site dedicated to making suggestions, including backwards compatible games. I would suggest upovting and commenting on titles you want to be backward compatible
there. The site is https://xbox.uservoice.com/forums/298503-backward-compatibility/ . If you don't find the title in the search
you can create a new post.

I did a search and did find year 5-7 being suggested, here is that suggestion https://xbox.uservoice.com/forums/298503-backward-compatibility/suggestions/8377956-lego-harry-potte....

The full list of current backwards compatible titles is available here: Xbox One Backward Compatibility List | Xbox .

Xbox one backwards compatible chat with 360.

So....do I have to be playing the same (backwards compatible) game as them or can I just play any (Backwards compatible) game I wish and open the 360 UI that way? Further more why not work the 360 UI chat system into the Xbox one system?

    Xbox Backward Compatibility

    Hi there, Perfect Vinny!

Which backward compatible titles are available in your area will vary by individual games; you would need to search for a particular game to determine if it was available in your region.

If a game is not listed as available in your region when you console and account are set to your physical location, you would not be able to purchase it, I'm afraid.

    There's a
text list of backward compatible titles
    that can help you search.

To see what original titles are supported, I suggest a Bing search for "Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility."
