Why did my XBOX Ultimate pass cancel itself?

So I bought the $1 for three months deal for the XBOX Ultimate pass and for some reason it cancelled itself because when I was about to launch a game at gave me an error code and it cancelled the page so then I went to the Microsoft store to see and it
said somthing like "You dont have the game pass".

Thanks for coming to the Xbox forums. We recommend to request a call from support. They will be able to help you out the best in this situation.

When you go to Contact Us,follow these steps to request a call from support:

Step 1 ----click on Contact us
Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Subscriptions & billing
Step 3-----under what is the issue I can't redeem a code then hit next

Step 4 ----scroll down to select request a call

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

Yes he did purchase an ultimate game pass but for only one month but he said he didn’t need it and so he cancelled it. But why would cancelling one cancel the other?

Did you subscribe to Game Pass Ultimate? If you did, cancellation and a refund will negate your Xbox Live Gold that was transferred to Ultimate.

Have you canceled the Game Pass Ultimate? When you did that it will cancel everything, because the gold subscription was converted to Game Pass Ultimate..

Did you have just standard Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate? Ultimate includes Gold so cancelling it will cancel your Gold.
