Why did my account reset when I unlocked it from being locked?

I have this very old account I made few years back then, but it got locked because I was logging in too much on my account on the Minecraft website. Now, for some reason when I finally unlocked it after waiting a whole month, It just tells me to make a username and a new profile. I have lost all of my progress on my account on Minecraft and other games, my original username was ShimmerBlimmer.

I ain't locked from my account, but I am locked from Microsoft Services. I have to input a phone number and verify my account to unlock it, but when I try to unlock it a while later, it is locked again and I have to verify using a phone number again. (Basically
I am in an infinite, and annoying loop...)

Ok well i did that, Got my account unlocked again? I think. All was well got my email reset link and entered my new Password. Now i recovered my profile on my xbox perfectly fine, But when i try it on my friends it still says that same error message. So
is my account locked or something?

I had the same issue yesterday, I beat the campaign on vet and did not get the achievement. I was worried because usually when that happens it says 100% done unlocking. This time however it was just still locked. I just signed in now and got credit for the
achievement (it did not pop but it shows that I unlocked it) I did power cycle and reset my router, don't know if that fixed it or just coincidence. If they still haven't unlocked for you try the old power cycle and reseting your router.
