    Why did Microsoft get rid of their support speclists?


    I called Microsoft support because I was having an issue with my elite controller. All I got was a message saying use the Xbox Assist app or chat with an agent. Sometimes people need verbal support and they need to talk to someone.

    Why did Microsoft get rid of family pack, it worked out awesome for me and my sons. Guess the switch is on to PS3.

    Hi, my understanding is that Microsoft is not getting rid of their support specialists, but instead switching to a callback system to avoid people having to wait on hold. If you visit Contact Us | Xbox Support
    and select your support area of need, decline the virtual agent, and then select your issue, you should then see options that may include to chat with an Xbox support agent and/or request a call from an agent. The support options you see might depend on your
    issue and/or region. Hope that helps!

    Microsoft hasn't gotten rid of the support team. You can request a call back or chat with support at http://support.xbox.com/contact-us If you don't see those options, change the category/topic until you do.
