Why did Marble Blast Ultra get censored?

Everyone who bought the game, paid good money for the game, where did it all go?

Xbox remembers the game, but only will show us the demo.

Leaderboards were competitive, they are gone too.

It should be trivial for Microsoft to buy the rights back and rerelease the game.

I'm afraid it's a bit more complicated than that. The rights are owned by InstantAction Holdings, and the engine is owned by GarageGames. Microsoft doesn't own anything to do with this title.

I'm afraid it's stuck in a legal limbo and there is nothing the community or Microsoft can do about it.

I really liked Marble Blast Ultra and I wish it was backward compatible. Marble It Up looks like a new Marble Blast Ultra and I hope they bring it to the Xbox One.

I did a little investigating into why Marble Blast Ultra would cost so much, and unfortunately I found out that it's been pulled from the marketplace so you won't be able to purchase it.

Sorry to disappoint you, but Marble Blast Ultra was removed from XBLA in 2011. Its a bummer. I had fun playing that one too. Joystiq.com posted an article about it:
