Why did I lose Achievement points?

    Why did I lose Achievement points?


    I was playing Ark today, and ended up getting the Map Maker achievement. For some reason, the achievement notification popped twice, one about a minute or so after the other. When I went to check my achievement points, I found I had somehow lost almost 40k
    points. What happened to them? Are they gone for good for some reason? Or is this a glitch that will resolve itself in time?

    I had about 174,865 points, but now it shows 136,720.

    This is a current known issue and is being looked into, see "achievements" https://beta.support.xbox.com/xbox-live-status

    Your score will return to normal. Unlocking an achievement in another game could also update it accordingly.
