Why did I get a 24 hour ban?

I got a 24 hour ban for sending a message on xbox to someone calling him an **** because he kicked me from a ranked game of rainbow six siege before the game even started, so I got a 15 minute penalty in game from playing again. Then he messaged me back
saying 'feel the burn.' If reports are actually looked into when they get filed why is it that i got banned. I did nothing. He antagonized the situation.

Thats fine & great if your connected all the time...

If they left that, and made it so you could play OFFLINE as long as you want with the original disk in drive then we'd all be happy...

@Hairy... What do you imagine is contained on the discs?? Hmm .. it's a series of a baziilion I's & O's.. you know the game DATA.. the DIGITAL coding of the program... The DIGITAL code for the game is the same whether its on a disc or downloaded from
internet.. the only difference is the medium used to transfer it... The DRM is for managing the rights (permission) to play the.. Having the disc allows a user to play the game.. the rights are managed by the Disc.. Having a online check-in allows user
to play the game.. the rights ar emanaged by the check-in.. just liek the game checks for a disc in drive... They do same thing in different way.. You can start your car with a Key.. Or in some cases you can remote start your car with iPhone or whatever..
Both methods manage who can or cant start your car/game....

It doesn't matter how things get started, if you send something in a message that violates the code of conduct, you would also be at risk for punishment.
