WHY CANT XBOX LIVE GET THIER *** TOGETHER??? DOWN AGAIN!!!! OMG!!

I'm pretty tired of xbox live being down so often. It's aggravating.....we pay all this money, and yet Microsoft can't get their services running. Pathetic, especially when they claim they have the best online community experience. Anyone else feel the same??

i'm thinking about calling my credit card company and telling them to reverse the charges. i have been sold a service thst MS cannot provide.

I see what's happening... now EVERY time there is some sort of outage - and most the time it will be on the user's end - we are going to hear about it here. Wee!

I have to say that I didn't have any problems connecting to XBL, even in December. Check your internet.

Maybe it's just an X1 issue then, because the 360 connection has been fine and I've been playing DA Inquisition almost every night since Christmas. Shrug.

 

360 user here - my 360 disconnected a few minutes ago and has refused to reconnect ever since.

I don't want to sit here and rant, but the more this happens the more I'm tempted to. Microsoft clearly has the money to afford better servers (they make more in a day than many of us will in years), so the fact they don't seem to do a better job with their
infrastructure is pretty sad. Going off-topic here, but the same applies to Sony and PSN.

 

I wouldn't have phrased it the way OP did but this is ridiculous... If one is going to require people to be connected in order to play games then one had better maintain a stable system, especially when customers are paying for the service. Time to start
crediting accounts or handing out free downloads, Microsoft. This week has been an absolute joke.

 

This is ridiculous. Its a complete misrepresentation. We have had Playstation the last 3 years and I will take the occasional boot anyday over this. I got it for my kids(umm and me) for Christmas and the first night they were hacked. Microsoft needs
to stick to OS's. This is stupid.

 

I'm just wondering... and this may be a tiny bit off topic but not really... if there is for some reason a power outage at a servers location that disrupts service would that be microsofts fault or the power company? I know they probably have emergency back
up generators or something but could that be a realistic situation? Im not defending Microsoft cause I've had my share of service disruption. I just noticed that most times it coincides with bad weather and disruption is usually brief.
