Why can't we have a free gamertag change like we did with the 360

I changed mine recently so there are still a few out there if your creative. I like that you can go to " change GT" & check to see if it's taken. Just a suggestion. Also if your looking for ideas. Pick a phrase or word your considering and look it up in
Latin ( or others) depending on your preference. Hope that helps. Also in my case it was worth every penny. Love my GT!

I've thought about changing mine more than a few times, but I've had it for yeeears. 99% of my friends just call me 'blue' so it doesn't help matters that some threaten to disown me if I don't keep blue in there somewhere. lol There's more GTs with 'blue'
in them than one might think and I'm definitely not going with a bunch of #'s and X's either. I want to be at least somewhat original. This one still kind of feels like it's getting old and tired at times though.

The x's in my GT are far from obnoxious. Names like XxmyxnameXhereXx is an obnoxious use of X's.

I wanted the gamertag SCOTT but that was taken so as you can see I had to swap the O for a zero and the T for a 7, now people call me Scott Seven?

If your Xbox One is your home console you can always make a new gamer tag and play on that while renewing and purchasing content with the current gamer tag. Just a thought.

All the tags arent taken but good solid ones with no numbers to replace letters mostly are. I think they should allow numbers to start GTs, so I can get rid of these annoying X's.
