Why can't we change our gamertag we want?

Hello Peeps,

I had an idea you know peeps that are banned from using xbox account, why don't they reset the name, so we can get what gamertag i want, even peeps never used the account, why should they keep it if they not using it, i think it bit selfish, Gamertag i wish

Why do Xbox only let you change your gamertag once for free?? Why can't we change our gamertag for free when we renew our xbox live... because in theory we can create a new xbox live account but then we lose our gamerscore.

Here's a thought; I recently found out that on the PlayStation network you can never change your name once you've created the ID, so we're pretty lucky we even have the option to change.

 

If i remember from one of your previous posts the gamertag you want was yours but that account got banned.

What would be the point of banning your account only to give you the gamertag back?

 

Come on MEG4RACER, you have changed your name like 4 times this month. I think it's time to pick something solid and chill with the musical gamertags.
