    I live in Israel ,and I bought my xbox one s around late 2017,I dont have a kinect ,one guide on my xbox doesnt offer features,such as changing channels and volume through my controller, or tracking my favorite channels, not to mention I have read that
    it can offer extra features such as pausing live tv,replaying up to 30 minutes of live tv,and I am not sure about that but possibly the ability to turn on tv with xbox,and even watching tv while playing, I know some of those features have been propably removed,but
    why do I need to connect my satellite box to an xbox if all I get is a quick switch between them,is there something I can tweak with one guide?I dont know how to costumise its settings.

    Annnnnnnnndddd I just rest my TV with no luck. Wasn't sure if there was a specific setting I was supposed to change, but I didn't notice anything about IR settings.

    When will the madness end....

    New black xbox 360 media remote wont change TV channels.

    lol.. i did actually think that at one point...

    but I ended up finding out from some user feedback comments left on Amazons website that the new black control does not have the ability to change channels on any TV at all anymore.

    I really dont understand why Microsoft made the new ones like this...if u cant change ur TV channels what are u suppose to do with it just use it for the volume..

    A big fail in my opinion :(

    That is the issue, any other device that you try Netflix Super HD, it is always Super HD, it does not matter if peak hours or not, Apple TV will stream Super HD 100% of the time, Smart TV will do the same, all my other devices are great, except the one that
    suppose to take over the living room, so far Xbox one video stream is a failure.

    It worked all fine and I could see the picture and volume just cant change the channel through the one guide but No I don't have the Kinect I can change my channel with my regular remote on the xbox one but I cant use the one guide with it so its kind if
    pointless, but I was wondering would the Xbox one media remote work for changing the channels through the one guide? or do I need the Kinect no matter to change channels through one guide? Kinda pointless if I cant use the one guide and just my regular remote
    on my xbox, ill go out and get the media remote if that's what I need
