why can't my son play online?

I'm sorry to see any issues connecting up to Xbox Live! Sometimes, on Xbox 360, testing the internet connection will resync the account to Xbox Live and let users enjoy their Gold features. You can run this by going to Settings > System settings
> Network settings > [select your connection] > Test Xbox Live connection. This should get you guys sorted out.

The issues began before I cancelled the subscriptions.

My son's still can't play shared games unless my profile is logged in

But if I'm logged in to one xbox, then it logs me out of the other xbox.

So both son's can't play at the same time, why can't they play these games from their profiles?

I have the same question as well! Why cant my kids play online together! If my other son can join in praying on another devise in the same house then why can they not both play on the xbox online together split screen????

Just as disappointing is when my son wants to play a game, and the system says "Halo 5 requires an update" then I've got to explain why he can't play the game until tomorrow, and plan on a late night.

This leads me to believe your son is playing online matches, otherwise you could just "Go Offline" to play. Personal belief is to ban satellite uses from playing any online game. The average ping of satellite is 850m.s.! I've played games with people in
other countries where latency was slightly over 200m.s., and that was no fun; can't imagine what it would be like to to be in a match with it approaching 2000m.s..

Anybody any ideas why my son can't play this on his profile but I can play it on mine? (I bought the game a while back)
