    why can't Microsoft support help with this problem


    during E3 promotions there was a sale where I purchased 3 months gold with a promise of getting a 3 month free code in the mail within 10 days. I Have yet not received my code. Seems like many others have the same problem. Called customer service and was
    asked to post my problem here which i thought was absolutely bs. Have posted a couple of times but I not getting any result. What's up with this. Who must i contact to get results. What type of business practice is this?

    Achievement will not unlock

    is any one from microsft going to help with this problem if not why do customer support tell me to post on the forum when no one from microsoft will help

  3. Where is Microsoft's help?

    I don't understand why you even have a help and support forum. I don't see any help or support from Microsoft. Just a lot of complaints from people like me who are having problems with Microsoft jigsaw puzzles. It would be nice to see Microsoft fix this

  6. I too have this same issue and was told to post here after contacting support.

    Promotion was buy 3 months of gold, get 3 months free. The 3 Free months were to be received within 10 days from purchase.

    Received a code via email the following day (with no indication of how many months of fold it was for.)

    Waited 10 days, no secondary code/redemption instructions received.

    Redeeming the initial code, only gives 3 months of gold, not the 6 that stated in the promotion.

    It has been well past the 10 days since purchase, and the free 3 months is no where to be seen.

    Before it's asked, spam and junk mail has been checked. Outside of the initial purchase email/code, nothing relating to the order or promotion has been received.

    Support seems unable to help beyond telling people with this issue to post here.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    it depends hpw.you purchased it

    Via the console with a credit or debit card which is the correct wayof doing it

    Or.if you bought It with a prepaid code

    Which means you failed.to.vomplete the promo

    And yes it specifically says you need to buy the promotion on the dashboard

    Prepaid codes.isnt buying it as it's counts when you bought it at the store NOT when you enter it.in (previous purchase)

    Also should be noted codes are sent at a later date 6-8 weeks
