    Why can’t I use the symbol -


    I am trying and want to have my gamertag in a different language but can’t because I cannot use the symbol - and I was just wondering why I can’t use it in my gamertag

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    According to Xbox Support:

    "At this time, we’re focusing on alphabet-based words so that players can easily find one another.

    Your gamertag can include the alphabets/Unicode scripts from the languages that are listed above, as well as spaces and numbers. However, your gamertag can’t start a number"

    This means that as of the moment, we can't use the symbol (-) yet, ProtoCognito.

    Yes google nazi symbols and blackops yes blackops has lvls with nazi symbols hence why it is legally baned

    Google is great Which is why foreign blackops is banned in Germany along with WaW Except on foreign ground but as long as you are using German connections you are held to the German laws

    Really use google usk blackops issues

    I find it hard to believe that you made that emblem not knowing it would cause offence! Yes it has been used as a semi religious symbol but that is not why you made it. If it was up to me I would make the ban a long one. Anyone using that symbol on a game
    is clearly making a statement and an abhorrent one at that. Well done MS.for once.
