    Why can't I use a wired X360 Controller? Or a Mouse and Keyboard?


    I completely understand why a wireless controller won't work...But why can't a wired controller not work? Also, why do none of the games support a Mouse & Key Board Option? (Like Battlefield 4).

    1. Why in xbox you can't use mouse? But in ps4 you xan use your mouse i like so much xbox

    but I think that being able to use a mouse is a very good idea because if not ps4 it would be better and more profitable to buy it

    you can get third party keyboard and mouse for the XO.

    The technology and programming, and they way they work is very different on an XO to the 360 which is why they are not compatible.

    just because the plastic casing is similar doesn't mean the way they work are.

    Mouse and keyboard support would require own servers in shooters, as they would dominate most controller users.

    They dominate most control pad users in standard servers using XIM's and the like. There's no point in not supporting them really. People will still use them if they really want to and it would be better for internet usage.

    Keyboards work on the Xbox One already, though limited by the OS.

    Mouse and Keyboard makes controllers obsolete

    Keyboard & mouse support is coming soon.

    Players using a controller will not be put into games with players using a keyboard/mouse & vice versa unless they choose to.

    Other than RTS games I can't stand using a keyboard/mouse to play games with,much prefer a controller.

    How could or would a game like Age of Empires work on console?

    the original Xbox only came with a controller. the Xbox 360 only came with a controller. the Xbox One comes with a controller. you can't buy an Xbox One with a Keyboard and Mouse.
    in my opinion if they don't sell them with a Keyboard and Mouse they shouldn't have support for Keyboard and Mouse. if you want to use
    Keyboard and Mouse you should play on a PC and not on a console.

    They dominate most control pad users in standard servers using XIM's and the like. There's no point in not supporting them really. People will still use them if they really want to and it would be better for internet usage.
