    Why can’t I unmute my friends in Minecraft?


    I play Minecraft on Nintendo switch with an xbox/Microsoft account linked. I accidentally muted a friend of mine but now I can't unmute them. Every time I press unmute It just auto mutes them again. Can I have some help please!

    Thanks for the reply but Its a problem with xbox account not Nintendo.

    If you muted it in-game, it is not an account problem and reinstalling it and clearing the cache might help you.

    If you changed your account settings regarding communication in online games, then it is an account problem. Follow these steps to correct it:

    Login at this link

    https://account.xbox.com/Settings

    And in the part of "Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 devices Online Safety" set all features related to multiplayer, communication and friendship to "Allow".

    In case you have changed the game settings, what I mentioned didn't help and the game is buggy and doesn't allow you to remove the mute, you should report it to the game support through this website:
