    Why can't I stream music from USB WHILE playing games?!?!?


    The media player is actually one of the best available to any other console current and lastgen. It has more file types support than I would ever have imagined coming from a software company sincce alot of those types are used by pirated media. I've watched
    movies on flash drives with no voice syncing issues at all. I haven't tried snapping it yet but that could be a good way to listen to music. I know you can broadcast on twitch and still unsnap it so it doesn't interfere with your playing field so why not try
    that option?

    I recently put a usb into the front of my xbox to listen to music off the usb while playing games. I didn't format the usb so the music would still be on there. But I took out the usb turned off my xbox then turned it back on and it works, so I guess I can't

    You can't transfer music from your Xbox HDD to a USB. Also, you can't download music onto your console with Xbox Music, nor can you play files on your console, you can only stream from the catalog using the app.

    Agreed! Why not even the "System Video/Music Player"? It bothers me I can't watch videos from my USB drive or stream from my computer like you can do on the 360. Good thing I have my 360.

    Not being able to stream music from the HDD or laptop while playing some single player games, we have been able to that since the first Xbox, why was that left out.
