Why can't I sign into Xbox cloud gaming on my Samsung TV

Hello Dave, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your sign in.

I presume that you can log in to other sites on your PC with that account with no issues? Please double check this link first https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/account-pro... to see if anything helps there but if that doesn't work then I'd recommend contacting a Microsoft Advocate if you believe it's an account related problem.

To contact an Advocate go to https://support.xbox.com/contact-us and start a chat. When you get to a fellow gamer ask to be escalated to an Advocate for more help.

Thanks for this information. Please try to check for your TV firmware updates. If there's no available updates, try to factory reset your TV to its default settings.

I just want to add this to the list of problems and solutions in case someone else runs into it.

The link www.xbox.com/tvsetup was not activating the account on my TV, and it was redirecting me to my xbox account page. For some reason using github to sign in with my microsoft account was the culprit. Once I used the microsoft authenticator to log in it correctly activated my account on the TV.

Hey there this is probably a little bit late, but this just happened to me and I figured out how to fix it. I had to close the Xbox cloud app and then from the main Gaming page I opened the Xbox app and it was signed in. Started up Starfield like normal.
