why cant i sign into a new account on the xbox app

Whenever I go on the Xbox app for some reason after I sign in I'm putting the password the yada yada yada. It wants to make me sign back again and I have Outlook should I switch to Google and try again?

I would really like to be able to log into my account again please because I have my Xbox live account on that and I don't want to lose it

It's still want let me sign into my xbox360 it's saying I'm log into a Xbox one but I don't have a Xbox one at all,so could y'all please help me out on this one please an thank you

Is the account you are trying to use in Xbox app currently signed in to Microsoft Store?

Is the account associated to games is your local user account on your computer?

Check for Windows updates to make sure that your PC is up to date. Also make sure you have these installed on your PC Xbox Identity Provider - Microsoft Store Apps and Gaming Services - Microsoft Store Apps.
