Why cant i sign in to a profile?

Hey!

We have a problem over here with our Xbox S console.

It started to work slow for a while ago so i tryed to do a system reset and after that we cant sign in, so we did send the console to MS while we stil got warranty. Now we have our console back and we still cant sign in, when we try to sign in to profile the loading ring just spinning for a long time then we jumps back to the main screen without any error codes or something like that. Anyone who have been into same problem or know how to fix the problem?

Hi Kevand333, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Kindly try signing in using a different account and check if the same issue will occur, since this issue still occurs on a newly repaired console it can be an issue with the account but we will check.

Also, if signing in to a different account still won't work, please perform ane extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

have you tried to sign into login.live.com with the email for your gamertag??

if you cant sign in or get an error message this would be the causeof why you cant download the profile

I'm sorry you're experiencing these issues.

Please try temporarily disabling two-step verification from the website

https://account.live.com/proofs/manage/additional

Then try signing in to your console again. If the issue persists, try changing your password and trying to sign in again.

Also, please try to test connecting your console to another network and check if the same problem occurs, you could configure your smartphone as a Mobile Hotspot and connect your console to that network.

i have the same issue and its past ridiculous...i understand the coppa thing but why cant you do it all by signing in to your live profile and then create a child profile from a local one....either that or allow people to link the 2 together by signing into
the local profile with the email and password associated to the xbox live account

I've just moved out into a new house and we haven't had the internet installed yet but I am able to sign into my profile and play a select few of my games, cant understand why it wont let you sign in
