Why can’t I see my friends word?

I was playing minecraft and I joined my friends party and he said he invited me to his world on minecraft but I didn’t receive it and he wasn’t on joinable friends

If you are gaming on the console, we would suggest going through the following troubleshooting steps:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

After going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 2 to 3 minutes, re-plug them back again, then restart your console.

Can u tell what game are trying to play with your friends? You have to check if the game actually support the crossplay and which is the correct way to add them.

For example Fortnite can be crossplayed but you have to add your friends from the epic account not directly from the Xbox.

Its ok id never "jump ship" i hate sony. plus iv got some very good friends on the xbox. it was about 10pm time i could see who was on from the live tile but when i clicked it it wouldnt show
