    Why Can't I see messages/party invites while playing? Why can't I see my friends sign ...


    I bought my XBOX one last week and I am encountering a somewhat frustrating experience dealing with the new Dashboard and user interface. What happened to the quick menu when I hit the XBOX home button? I can’t seem to get my friends icon to pin to my snap
    bar for easy use. I also have noticed that I can’t see when my friends sign on, is that something I have to activate? I also am noticing that I’m not getting party, message, or chat notifications while I’m in the game and in my settings, I have them set to
    on. Can someone please help explain why I am experiencing these issues? This can’t possibly be the new way forward for the Xbox social experience or the user interface.

    Why can't I see my friends or messages ?

    This mainly happens due to connection problems or poor connectivity. Try restarting your router/modem, or delete and recover your gamertag.

    I guys, I need help . On my Xbox console when I sign in to Xbox Live it doesn't let me see my friends or messages, when I press on friends and\or messages it's just freeze's and donesn't want to load or anything. any suggestions?

    I can't send messages but I can see online friends, can't invite to parties or games either.

    If you recently renewed your Xbox LIVE subscription, you may want to try clearing your system cache. Instructions on how to do this can be found at [

    support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache.aspx     ]. If that doesn't help, try recovering your GamerTag.

    For me, it is a real honor to be able to help you today, this problem is a bit common among community users, in fact a very famous streamer while he was live presented this problem and the solution was to restart the console, although you can follow these Steps:

    Perform a power cycle reset, follow these steps:

    Unplug the power cord from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cord from both devices.

    Restart your Xbox One console. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your Xbox One controller to open the Power Center. Select Restart Console and then select Restart. (If the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox  button on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console turns off, tap the Xbox button on the console again to restart.) After 5

    Minutes, first connect the modem or gateway and wait for all the lights to return to normal status.

    If you are using a router, plug it in and wait for all the lights to return to normal.
