Why can’t I see a game I bought digitally

I bought GTA V on my Xbox One S digitally and recently got an Xbox Series S. When I logged into my account on my Xbox Series S it said I had to buy GTA V again even though my friends had done the same as me and it transferred over digitally. I have tried to call Microsoft but it keeps coming up with there is an error with your number. I can also still play it on my Xbox One S and Forza Horizon 3 transferred over and that came with my Xbox One S. So can I have help?

I understand you need help with your game problem.

If the new console is saying that you have to buy the game, this may be due to the game not being bought on that account before.

To check that, you can try going to your order history because all your orders should show up on there most especially the game if it was bought from that account.

If the game is not there, try checking other accounts that you may have used to buy the game.

I bought a disc copy of Batman: Arkham Origins a backwards compatible Xbox 360 game and I used to be able to see it for sale digitally on the Microsoft store, but ever since I installed onto my xbox via disc i can’t see the game itself in the store,
I can only see the add ons. Any reason as to why this is happening? I’d like to own it digitally instead but the digital game page is nowhere to be found.

What you mean with "for sale digitally on the microsoft store" ?

If you have the original disc in your tray, the console start downloading the Xbox One version.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to this thread.

If you are unable to install your game via your console, I would suggest that from your

Order hisotry, you attempt to install the game remotley. This will also allow you to verify ownership of the title as well.

Alternatively, you can always install your game remotely using the

Xbox Console Companion App.
