    Why can't I request an invitation to a club even though I am allowed to?


    Last night, I tried to request an invitation to a club and it said my account wasn't set up that way and I had to change it in the privacy and online settings on xbox.com. I got my parent account to allow me to join clubs and saved it. I have repeatedly
    tried to request an invitation to a club with no success. I have signed out and signed back into my account and it still has not worked.

    Windows 10 - Can't join clubs etc.

    In the Windows 10 Xbox app i can neither join clubs nor request invitations although because apparently, these features are blocked by my privacy settings which is not the case, joining clubs is allowed according to them.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi, I've got problem with my Xbox account.

    I can't join any club. When I click the "Request invitation" button on the club page on my phone, there is a message which says "There was a problem with your account. For more information log in to

    http://Xbox.com     ." When I click the "Request invitation" button on the club page on PC, nothing is happening. My account is connected with my father's account. We checked Xbox One Online Safety settings on the

    Never mind, I figured out how to change my account from a teen to an adult.

    Manage Clubs confusion

    Hi,

    Usually clubs that have it marked as "Private" will not allows users that are not members to view Activity Feed, Chat, and Roster. Once you become a member then you'll gain access to all that. However, even if you have a club as open to "Public" everyone
    can view the Activity Feed, Chat, and Roster even if they are not members of the club. Request for invitation will still allow them to follow the club, but it is to validate/mange users that are trying to join the club.

    Clubs that are "Hidden" no one can find or search for unless they are specifically invited by a Admin or Owner of the club.

    Hi there!

    As long as you have an Xbox profile, you should be able to use the club features available on Xbox Live without needing an actual console for it to work.

    Does this happen with any club invitation that you receive? Are there any issues with requesting an invite and then joining other clubs?

    Do you have Xbox Live Gold? Do you have a Windows 10 PC by any chance to try on the Xbox app for Windows 10?
    I can't accept any club invites, but I can request to join them though. I don't have a windows 10 pc or xbox live gold, I only have a Samsung s8. I'm planning to get a Surface pro 6 and Macbook pro and Xbox one x with a Seagate 8tb hard drive and a PS4 pro
    and an iPhone XS max soon. I'm saving my money big time!
