Why can't i re-download certain games?

    Why can't i re-download certain games?


    I just bought a new 360 and i'm trying to re-download all of my games, most work fine but some, like mirrors edge for example give me this error code 800700E8. When i try doing it on xbox.com it says "Sorry, this item is no longer available.". is there
    anyway around this?

    Why can't i re-download certain games?

    If the content has been delisted or removed from Xbox Store due to expiration of copyright then there is nothing that can be done. The content simply does not exist anymore to be downloaded. Some games exist in physical form and a hard copy can be still
    be purchased and installed.

    If you haven't already, try going to your purchase history on either Xbox.com or your Xbox. Almost all games, even delisted ones, can be redownloaded from there.

    I had the same issue. I spoke to an Xbox live representative and they refunded my payment.
