    Why can't I purchase Heljarchen Hall?


    I loaded an old save and noticed i had the other two dlc land plots but not Heljarchen Hall. I go to jarl Skald in Dawnstar but there is no option to buy the land plot or start any quest. I can't initiate a conversation with his steward either (i hit
    A to interact but nothing happens). I'm level 58 on this character and have done a lot of quests, and finished the main story (siding with storm cloaks). Has anyone had any problem like this?

    That's interesting. I would first contact xbox on the phone for this one. You should be able to change your location through your Microsoft account. All the best.

    im not sure why it isnt working. if the problem persists, and you got the dlc seprate [not legendary edition] you can reset hearthfire by deleting it, loading the save then saving it, then downloaing hearthfire again. WARNING this will remove all hearthfire
    houses and everythin inside so make sure to remove all contents from the house before resetting the dlc.

    Master Architect Achievement (Hearthfire), bugged?

    I've built all three houses with all three wings. Lakeview Manor has the Bedrooms Wing, Kitchen Wing and Trophy Room. Windstad Manor has the Armory, Enchanter's Tower and Storage Room. Heljarchen Hall has the Alchemy Laboratory, Greenhouse and Library.
    As I said in my initial post, they all have cellars, main hall and entryway. Only Lakeview Manor is furnished, Windstad is partially furnished and only the Library of Heljarchen Hall is furnished.

    I wondering if for some reason Lakeview Manor hasn't 'registered' as I had that complete (built and furnished) and the Architect Achievement (Build Three wings on a house) didn't 'pop' until I had completely built Windstad Manor.

    .

    I can't help this feeling that I've messed up somewhere, therefore I'll have to start a new game to get it >.<

    Hearthfire - Best house?

    I don't know about better or worse, but I love Heljarchen Hall. I have a few characters, and have done the houses in different places. I've built them with different additions too. With Heljarchen, I built the bedroom, trophy room, and armory which gave
    so many ways to show off my trophies. The only glitch I've found there is the fact that my bard disappeared.

    I think I've had more baddies in Lakeview than anywhere else. There are even two giant camps close to the hall, but they don't seem to bother me much.

    I also have the problem with not being able to adopt. I have Lydia living here (I chose the Heljarchen Hall as my home) and it says that the two beds I have upstairs are not owned, but it still wont let me adopt... There is also no option to build more beds...
