    I can't purchase gold to go online with the money in my Microsoft account why is that?

    Live Gold Is A Rip Off!

    Feeling ripped off by Microsoft!

    Bought a Live Gold membership, but can't buy games, rent movies or purchase anything through Xbox because Guam is not included in the billing drop-down selection. Pretty useless!

    Wish I had known this before buying a Live Gold membership!

    You got my money, Microsoft. Hope you're happy.

    Gold can only be purchased via credit card/Paypal or by purchasing a prepaid gold card from a retailer. The currency system is not set up to work with recurring subscriptions.

    But you could turn off auto renewal then it wouldn’t carry on the subscription (or leave it in if you have enough for more).

    Im not allowed to buy xbox live gold but the money is in my account it will not purchase the 3 month for $14.99.
    Xbox credit on your account cannot be used to purchase memberships such as Live or Game Pass. You can only use a credit card, paypal or a pre paid membership card purchased from your local retailer.
