Why can't I play splitscreen co-op on Gears of War 2 on Xbox One

I enjoyed a lot of games that are splitscreen co-op:

Borderlands

Halo 3

Halo 3: ODST

Halo Reach

Gear of War

Gears of War 2

Gears of War 3

Resident Evil 5

Rainbow 6 Vegas

Rainbow 6 Vegas 2

And I did enjoy Army of two's co-op the second one was lacking though. I must also be the only person who enjoyed Kane and Lynch. Lost Planet 2's Splitscreen Co-op is actually pretty horrible, as it gives you a much smaller screen, and only the primary account
can get achievements, which makes no sense to me. I don't know why it would have full online co-op with everyone getting achievements and then limit the splitscreen.

Fable, Hellboy, and the earlier lego games had really crappy co-op as well with the whole lame shared screen crap that often screws up camera angles so you can't see what you are doing. Or in the case of Lego would end up having you get pulled to your death
because your co-op partner has no clue where they are going.

Yes, Gears of War 1 and 2 have two-player co-op only. Gears of War 3 is the only Gears to have four-player co-op.

A lot of shooters have co-op enabled split screen, so there's that. But games that focus specifically on Co-op are a little harder to find:

• Borderlands
• Castle Crashers (Xbox LIVE Arcade game)
• Gears of War
• Gears of War 2
• Portal 2 (This game is probably the one that has the best co-op: has its very own co-op mode with heavy focus on solving puzzle sequences as a team)
  

I think I just Buy Gear of War 2, Gear of War Judgment and F.E.AR 3, Because they are Co op Games and I don't Single Games I like Co op Games, I seem to not like playing Single player Games.
