Why can’t I play offline. Been offline for awhile now playing till today.

I come home to play farcry 5 which i have been playing offline now for a week. I come home log into my profile offline and it tells me i need to log into my xbox live account to start this game or app. What is going on???????

M1 Irons offline, but not the AE4

So today I decided to play offline and noticed that te M1 Irons was available offline. None of the other guns I have received for AW been available offline for me, but the offline bots can use the AE4 and it's variant. Anyone have a clue why or am I the
only one?

Sounds like the console is not receiving any internet connection.

• What device are you using?

I recommend the following troubleshooting guides :

• Power cycle the Xbox
• Test Network connection

Try this out and let us know the results.

 

Hi! I think in this case it would be best to try to enable 'offline mode' within your consoles settings. The consoles asks for an online connection since it probably struggles with identifying the license for Far Cry.

Is this happening with any other game besides Farcry 5?

Have you checked by any chance whether or not your console is set as your gamertag's Home Xbox?

I believe nowadays you need to have that set up in order for you to play games offline.

Make sure ypu have offline enabled on the settings and that you console is set to home...
