Why can't I play offline anymore!!

True, but it isn't treated the same as water or electricity and I'd have to pay over 400$ just to get it. That's more than half of what I get a month, there's no way I could pay for that.

I have done this, the problem is still ongoing. It won't even show I have games installed, even disk games. I've found a workaround, I put all my games in a group and the games show up in the group, but I have to press list(start for us old timers) and go
to manage game and then click the game in my installed list to start them. It works, but every new game has to be added to this group or it won't show up, and the method to actually start a game gets tedious real fast

when you have access and are connected to the internet go to your network settings and select
go offline then try playing games from game pass.

if this works you should be able to turn off the hotspot and continue playing offline

Ive never paid for game pass. But yet I have this same issue. All of my 107 games are bought or recieved through xbox gold free games. And now this update and all my games are gone, including disc games. And i have to have internet? It asks me to sign
into game pass as if i purchased it. Disc games work but require a redownload. And updates. And wasted time. Xbox has me pretty upset lately wish i bought the 4

I've never changed this since i first set this one as my home xbox years ago, so unless the new update reset that, then yes this is my home xbox we're talking about. Also, to even set this feature i need a network connection, so that doesn't help me one
