    why can't i pay for a past due payment with my microsoft wallet?


    i only have money in my xbox wallet so i have no idea how im going to pay for my gamepass?

    I have a past due payment and i dont understand why I can't pay it with my Microsoft account. So I always buy the 12 month gold and each time it ends your subscription finishes no problem after that. Since I bought a game and had a little left over and my
    Xbox live already ended I decide to buy 1 month gold in the Xbox store and after that ended it suddenly charged me with a past due payment. So my question is why can't I pay with my Microsoft account if I have the money now?? Or with a 12 month just deduct
    that 1 month?

    Can't pay for xbox live because the card i payed with previously was cancelled, and the renew payment setting was on, now i have past a due payment that I need to pay using that card but because it was cancelled there's obviously no way to pay with that
    card, and it won't let me change the payment method because the past due payment i'm expected to pay using a card that's been cancelled. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    As far as I am aware the only payments method for a past due balance are a debit card or paypal

    Past due balances unfortunately need to be paid with your debit or credit card. For additional assistance i would advise contacting Microsoft billing support

    Past due balances unfortunately need to be paid with your debit or credit card. For additional assistance i would advise contacting Microsoft billing support 😀

    If you ended up in a past-due situation, that is the reason why it will not resume by just adding credit to your balance. Unfortunately gift cards, subscription cards, or your Microsoft account balance can't be used to pay
    for a past-due Subscription so, to settle that, you will need to use another payment method or eventually contact support to see if they can manage that.
