Why can't i open Train Sim World 3 with addons?

No. It does the same with Train Sim World 2020

As a railway worker I may have to try Train Sim World!

that is a strange issue, I can't tell if you tried but please try the following steps in the exact order:

1. Uninstall the game
2. Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

3. Check if the game is fully gone and if so try to install again.

If the game wasn't fully gone, then you might consider a factory reset (perhaps even with removing all installed games and apps) keep in mind that this will require you to Download your profile again too, which in turn requires the account credentials.

Unfortunately, the game was delisted recently so it's no longer possible to purchase it. However, they just released Train World Sim 3 (which is also on Game Pass now) and the DLC should transfer to that game.

My daughter is so hyped for train sim world 2020 and she's only 9, so cute.
