Why can't I message

So, for the past few weeks i've been unable to message anyone that I know on my xbox account, that includes, voice messages, game clips, and regular messages. I haven't been banned for any type of reportable behavior, and I even tried removing my account
from the xbox, restarting the xbox, then signing back in. Everytime I go over to my conversations tab, it comes up with a orange text reading "We can't get all of your messages right now. Check back later." While a loading circle is on the top right of the
tab, nothing I have done so far has helped with this problem, so I would appreciate any type of help from a worker of xbox, or from someone of the community. Thank you for reading this post

Why can't I send messages?

I can't send messages to anyone after the latest update. I tried looking through my privacy setting but nothing was changed. Whenever I message someone on xbox one, it gives me a link saying that I have to change my security info but as soon as I change
it, I still can't message anyone.

It might be that you just need to refresh your profile data. Try removing the account from the console, doing a hard restart, hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on, and then re-adding the account.

Can you check the following:

Sign in on the Xbox website on Xbox | Games and Entertainment on All Your Devices

Then click on your account picture and from the menu choose "Messages"

Are you able to see and send messages on the Xbox.com website?

This is a little bit of an update on my situation, I figured out that it's not the account itself that works, but something else because, I added my second account on so that I could see wether it worked or not, and I was unable to send messages in that
account as well, it said the same thing last time as I listed above, so I don't know if it's my internet (even though I have a Ethernet cable connecting it to my router), or it's just plainly my xbox. Thank you for the comments so far, I appreciate people
trying to help.

So is it saying that when you press your home button and try to go to your messages you get an exclamation point within a triangle? If that's the case most the time it has been an Xbox services issue.

Another thing could possibly be is that if there is another account on your Xbox that got communication banned then it sometimes will block your communications too. It is an issue no one can fix because no one can notify the XBLEPT because there is no way
to contact them.

If all suspensions are expired, and you are therefore clear, try the following steps:

Remove your account from the Xbox.

Give your Xbox a power cycle.

Add your account back into the Xbox.

Attempt to use the social features now.

It's my understanding that these step will correct this issue.

I've come to the conclusion that there is a possibillity that this could be eaither a console or account ban for Communications, even though I have had no email from Xbox LIVE themselfs saying this. On my Xbox 360 I can message on my second account but not
on this one. But when I use my second account on my Xbox One, it's the same thing, I can't message. I'm thinking of getting another Xbox One but I'm not sure if that would be a waste of money to find out if it's an account ban.
