    Why can't I join realms with my friends even though all of my account settings are what...


    I spent close to 5 hours yesterday trying to figure out how to get the account settings set up, so I finally did that, over 12 hours later and I still can't join and I'm still getting the same error message telling me to change my account settings even though I already have. And it's not like I can do it on the Microsoft website because they just kept looping my to the same page for 3 of those 5 hours.

    The information in the question you selected says Xbox one/Series X/S but sure, then you have to uninstall the game, log out the Microsoft store app and console companion app, then restart the PC and log back in and reinstall the game

    You have missed some settings, also there's the possibility that the message it's not exactly about settings but the fact that you don't have Xbox live gold

    So, I had set up the privacy settings on my account, and I just uninstalled and reinstalled the game and signed back in and it's still telling me that I can't join my friend's realm. what am I supposed to do, and yes I submitted the changed and they were all set to allow.

    No, I made my own account so it's not in a family, but you're saying that I need to uninstall the game and re install it?

    How you changed your privacy settings? You got added to a Microsoft family by an adult account?

    If that's how it was made then you need to uninstall the game, then remove the profile from the console, restart the device doing a Power cycle and download the profile again to install the game
