We understand that you are trying to connect to Minecraft server and is unable to because you are getting connection lost error message. Let us check on this together and sort this out. Rest assured, we will do anything in our capability to assist you with your concern.

To help us isolate the issue better, please provide us details to the questions below:

1. What device are you using?
   
2. When did the issue start?
   
3. Is it happening to specific server only or happening to all?
   
4. Are you connected with VPN or using third party antivirus?
   
5. Are "Join Multiplayer Games" and You can create and join clubs" under your online privacy/multiplayer settings was set to allowed?

You may also try these few things:

• Restart your device.
  
• If you're on a wired connection, try connecting with a wireless connection or vice versa.
  
• Try connecting with another network connection if possible.
  
• If you're using a VPN, try turning it off.
  
• Check to see if the server is down using downdetector.com.
  
• If you're using a firewall, try disabling it.

We will need more information like errors, games being played etc.

Because at the moment we can't really help without knowing what issues you have.

Basically, why cant the Switch version of Minecraft cant see or join LAN servers? Its the same Betrock version, other platforms can so why cant Switch?

2nd question was why isn't there a Steam or Linux version of minecraft so its playable on Steam Deck?
