    Why can't I invite my friends to play games


    I have tried to invite my friends to play games with me several not just one but the option to invite is greyed out to where it can't be selected I can invite them to chat with me just fine but they do not appear to be online under my friends list even tho
    I know they are we have tried a few things but any help is any help is appreciated please and thank in advance

    Why can't I invite my friends to play games

    if any of your friends has their status set to offline that makes it complicated to invite them cause xbox sees them as not on xbox. I have this issue alot and i have to tell my friends to appear online just so i can invite them. U can sometimes bypass this
    by inviting your party to game.. But Being Offline is a do not disturb mode so it limits players interacting with each other.

    i cant join a party on MW3! why?!

    why can't I join a game from a friends invite? I friends cannot join from my invites, but we can all party up. I don't have elite and it was only affecting MW3.

    Friends Online Notifications

    It seems they have went a step back with the party/friend system. I can't invite my friends to a game through the friends list or party and they can't join sessions. This is why I got away from sony because it was a pain.
