    Hey so I'd like to report a problem

    That problem being is that I can't install resident evil 7 biohazerd gold edition for some odd reason as it doesn't even recognize the disc. I have the disc and it for some reason doesn't register the disc as the game seems to be unrecognizable for some
    odd reason

    Even though it's in perfect condition. It refuses to install or even notice that it's Xbox one

    And for some reason I'm unable to give the image to show proof so I'll have to send you guys the image through hangouts or Skype or messenger

    Install problem

    I have a strange problem with my Xbox one, i recently bougth a digital INDIE game, but after i bougth it i cant install it, Even my re-install games on harddisk i cant install however physical games works to install. Why cant i install digitally?

    I newly visited dad and bringed my xbox, so i pulled out my external harddisk but that cant be the problem, rigth?

    PLEASE HELP

    Backward compatability

    i just got a xbox one console and was trying out the backward compat feature using my lego star war tcs disc. however i found no option to INSTALL FROM DISC. the only option is internet downlod which is so SLOW. why is this so ? i have game disc in drive
    that has all the game data so why cant i install from there, it is so much faster than download from internet.

    As above does this happen with other games? Please try using some of the troubleshooting steps in this guide Troubleshoot Xbox One Disc Errors

    If all else fails I would look at returning the game to the retailer for a replacement.

    Hey triptikon9,

    You should use this Disc Error Guide to try and troubleshoot why your disc may not be working. it may just be a bit dirty if so clean it gently with a soft and damp
    cloth. If you have access, try it on a friends console and see if it works, if it does it may be an issue with your Xbox. If you feel like there is you can register your device for repairs: Register (or Unregister) Your Xbox | Xbox Product Registration

    Xbox PC app doesn't allow me to install games on external hard drive

    why has this happened it was perfectly fine a few months ago and now this so the games i already have spent downloading to the external drive need to be formatted? Why cant we just leave things alone????? always have to update why it just breaks stuff

    the existing games on external drive are still working so why cant i install new games to it i have 2.49TB Available this needs fixing MICROSOFT!!!! its hours of downloads and a drive that is now rendered useless

    Windows still sees drive and allows app store apps to be installed only XBOX app says otherwise WHY?
