Why can't I get my game pass points?

I don't use the punchcards, I merely get points from my purchases. You should at least get those points, possibly contact support about it if you can't but since the "time frame" hasn't passed I don't see why it wouldn't work.

From what I have heard they have removed the option to toggle recurring subscriptions when redeeming a code, I have a 1 month code but cant redeem it either because I dont have a credit card, this is really annoying as now i cant use game pass due to microsoft being greedy.

I'm afraid it is indeed a requirement to have an active payment card or PayPal added to your Microsoft account since redeeming subscription codes has an automatic renewal enabled by default.

If you have added a payment card and successfully redeemed your Xbox game pass ultimate codes, you can disable the automatic renewal on account.microsoft.com > services and subscription.

Then remove the payment card from your account on account.microsoft.com > payment and billing > payment option.

Based on your description, you can try to borrow any payment cards from your family members and once you have successfully redeemed your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate codes, you can remove the payment card afterward by following the instructions I provided above.
