    Why can't I get a replacement controller?


    it's under warranty and I'm getting the run around on all fronts this is terribly unprofessional. Xbox says it's no longer under the year warranty even though I bought it in June of this year. The protection plan I got through the retailer still says it's under the Xbox warranty so they won't do anything about it either.

    Beforehand, it is important that you keep in mind that this is a public community forum, so we are players like you, we are not employees of Microsoft or Xbox.

    This problem may be due to the country in which you reside, if currently there are no official Xbox technical centers in your country then this may be the reason.

    Even so, I recommend you try to place the order from the following website, you should keep in mind that it is not certain that the request will be processed, but I think it is good to try:

    Xbox day one edition controller is only 4 days old and already took a dookie -_-

    I just logged a replacement for my day one controller and was told they can replace it with a brand new day one controller. So not sure why you can't get it. Also my issue is with the LB button, feels very loose like I've been pressed 1 billion times. While
    it's under warranty, might as well replace it now rather than living with it.

    @Lestat573 I purchased my first Xbox 360 in 2006. I got the RROD in 2010. Xbox support replaced my Xbox without even mentioning a warranty. That's why I can't fathom that they could replace a console but refuse to replace a controller.
