Why can't I fix my account age?

When I created this account years ago, I put in the current date it was when I was supposed to be putting in my date of birth. This has resulted in my account being 0 years old. This is now years later, while I did try to fix it a while back,( even called
microsoft and couldn't get this handled), I got over the issue and just had a parent account. Now I am starting to encounter more and more issues and i'm wondering why xbox can't seem to recognize that my account says im 26 not 5. Let me know if i'm completely
missing something, any help at all would be appreciated.

The reason might also be that the modem and router either are not hooked up properly or there could be a fire wall issue , reach out to your internet service and they should be able to walk you through getting it fixed

since when can you change your age in real.life

Everything is set in stone

No service in the world can change age why would you expect something like that

One it's a security issue

Noone should be able to.change age

If you want to change your age you must start again

 

Unfortunately the age on your Xbox account is permanent and cannot be changed. You can change the birthdate on your MS account at account.microsoft.com but it will not change the age on your Xbox account.
