    Why can't I download this game?!


    Hello Why can't I download this game?! :(

    I'm actually getting really frustrated with Microsoft right now...

    So just yesterday, I found out that since Xbox Live Gold stated that we can play Portal: Still Alive for free, I was very excited because I've played the demo and now I'm like, "Oh yay, I can finally play the game now."

    BUT! When I literally tried to purchase the game, it said "Sorry, Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again." So I was like, "Uh, okay.. Maybe I needed to restart my console?" So I restarted it, tried to purchase it AGAIN and it kept
    saying the same error. So now I'm getting a bit pissed off (Sorry for the language). THEN I tried to purchase it onto my computer and it says the SAME THING ON MY CONSOLE...

    I have no idea why it's giving me this error, but I'm getting really frustrated. Like how can you expect this game to be free, yet you can't purchase it?

    It's literally too early for me to be this frustrated and I really wanna play this game. Why can't I download this game?! :( Is there anyone out there that can help me, or anyone that has the same issue as me?

    Multiple issues for the purchase of this game have been reported as well as updates that its now working. Give it another try and let us know if its working for you now.

    I kinda figured something was wrong with the Xbox xD But yeah, thanks again! :D

    I was having the same issue. Apparently that's now been resolved. I just tried again and I've got the game now.

    There is no issue with Xbox Live at the moment. I would recommend heading over to
    https://account.microsoft.com and check on your account status. Make sure there's a valid payment option listed on your account so you can get the 360 games as well. You won't be
    charged for the game but it seems a payment option is still required.

    If you're on a child account (under 18), you would need to download it via a 360 console due to child restrictions.
