Why can't I download save files for games that I have on my X-Box Series X?

So I found an FOS file (short for Fallout Save File) online that I would like to download for my pre-existing and already downloaded game of Fallout 4. I have access to my games on my PC as well. Is there any way I can download this FOS file for my version of Fallout 4 using my PC or my X-Box Series X? This save file has an un-modded character design that I would love to use, and being able to use it would save me a couple hours of eye-balling everything in Fallout 4's character creation menu.

If I didn't make it clear before, I own an X-Box Series X w/ an Ultimate subscription, if that helps. My PC is an HP personal computer. I have the FOS file saved on my PC, if that helps at all.

Xbox does not support using external downloads or modifications of any kind, on console or PC. You would have to use the steam version for such things

Oh, and when I try to download the save file on my Series X, I'm told that my device doesn't support downloads. I have read about extensions I can look into, but nothing has been able to help me thus far.

Oh, I forgot to specify that! I bought it on the microsoft store, for my x box series x, and I want to download it onto my x box.

Thank you I guess I'll keep saving for a X BOX SERIES X forza 5 horizon premium edition.im disabled can't go outside much .so I really miss my Xbox.

I uninstalled the game then reinstalled it and it works now. That link doesn't explain why it would be compatable with my series X but not my Xbox one X. If it's compatable with the newer box surely it would be with the older box. Or have I simplified things too much? Anyways it's working now
