Why can't I download a game from My Pins anymore

    Why can't I download a game from My Pins anymore


    I'll try my best to explain...

    I have diagnosed OCD and so when I turn my 360 on, I just like to actually be able to see my games… but as you know some games appear in “My Games” just as blank squares with no cover art. A few days ago I pulled my 360 out of the cupboards where it had
    been for atleast a couple of years because I just felt like playing it again and I downloaded a few games from my download history… one of them being Crimson Skies High Road To Revenge.

    Unfortunately this is one of those games that always appears in My Games as blank with no cover art… however one trick I used to use to get around this was to go to Games, then Search Games, look for Crimson Skies and then when it would come up I would press
    the X button for “More Options” and select to pin it. After that I would then go to My Pins and it would be there with full cover art and from there I would then select it and choose “Download Again”

    The reason why I am contacting you now is because, for some reason, when I do exactly what I just said there over the last few days… for some reason it comes up with 2 versions of Crimson Skies High Road To Revenge – the original which says it was made in 2003
    and has the Original Xbox logo in the top corner, and another one which says 2019 and doesn’t have the Original Xbox logo in the top corner.

    I can pin them both… but for some reason when I then go to My Pins and select More Options on either of them… the 2003 one (which is obviously the one I used all the time in the past) no longer has a “Download Again” option, and the other one which says 2019
    requests me to re-purchase it, even though I already own Crimson Skies.

    Before you say anything… yes I know this probably sounds really strange and you’re thinking why not just download it and then go to My Games and play it from there (which I can do)… but OCD really does bother you alot if things aren’t “even” and so I need to
    have my games showing their cover art and… as I said… the method I said up above always worked in the past no problems at all, but for some reason won’t work now. Can you please assist me with this?

    I don't see why use pins when in a simple sentence,you can launch a game or an app.....

    I don't use pin anymore,i just pin 6 apps to have a more colorful dashboard. :)

    Uninstall game/app, it still resides in the 'Your Games.." section

    Why not just "pin" the games you've downloaded? I think I've been to my apps twice cuz everything I need is pinned

    Really? I just went and pinned a game to the home screen on mine. Just now to test and it works.

    Overall, my system is pretty fast and responsive. No real issues. Took about 10 seconds to go to the store, search titanfall 2, and then get the download started for the new test. I have to say I have been really lucky with Xbox lately apparently.

    I really don't care if Xbox live is having issues. I care when your servers stop MY games and MY apps from working. Please explain to me why xbox live is the lifeline to my console (without sounding like an idiot). In no way should a service alert hinder
    the functionality of my gaming console. You know what I mean? My PINS don't even save when xbox live is down. I can't even put into words how frustrating it is to have everything XBOX LIVE dependent because whenever there is an issue with LIVE my xbox turns
    into a useless brick. If I can't set a wallpaper, set pins on my dash, download games and then disconnect from xbox live and have it all still be there, the same it was when I was online then SOMEONE MESSED UP. In no way should I have to be connected to
    XBOX LIVE for even my pins to show... whose bright idea was it to ruin xbox?
